There Goes My Baby
Lauren has been begging me to let her cut her long hair. I've held her off, telling her that you can always have short hair when you get older. That youth is the time for long hair and pony-tails. That she'd been letting it grow for so long. Finally, I broke. The results are fantastic. What a cutie.
But I'm afraid that when the last strand of long hair was cut, we lost the baby of our family. She's still a little girl (thankfully). However, I'm starting to see the beginnings of the beautiful young woman that she will become.

She is gorgeous either way. I love the new 'do.
I love her haircut! She definitely looks older though -- and beautiful!
Love it. Mimi has been begging me for months to let her chop hers off too. Only Mimi wants to go much shorter. I keep tellin her no because we are just now getting to where it can be in a ponytail.
oh it looks great, and can still be put into pony tails..
It turned out so cute! I love it. I was sad when my girls wanted to chop off their long hair too.
